We are Newquay Samba Band, a band first formed in December 2024 and is made up of 30+ members altogether, with multiple types of Drums, including Repinique's, Caixa's, Surdo's, Tamborim's, and also have Tambourines, Agogo Bells and Shakers too.

We play multiple different songs, created by the Bands Leader, in which each section plays their own rhythm/beat, which are then put together to make an amazing Samba Drumming sound. Each song has multiple "breaks", in which the beat changes for a short period of time and then reverts back to the original sound.

We perform at a variety of different Events throughout the year, from Carnivals and Festivals, to Running Races and Football Matches, to Halloween Events and Christmas Light Switch Ons.
